Thorsten, introduce yourself, please.
My name is Thorsten Weinmann. I am 46 years old and happily married.
What are you doing at vision-tec and how long have you been on board?
I am “the salesman”, whereby we see our sales work more as technical advice. How long have I been with you… Oh yes, that’s right since the beginning.
What makes your job in the field sales force special? What does your working day look like?
The special thing for me is the personal contact with customers and reacting quickly to changes in the market. This just makes my workday exciting and never boring. On the one hand, my working day is always the same and yet always different. I find variety in the daily contact with different people and the ever-changing demands of the market.
What is your contrast to the many appointments and car trips during the week?
There is only one answer: sport. As a former marathon runner, I discovered my love for racing bikes. I take my racing bike with me on every business trip. As soon as I arrive at the hotel, I jump into my cycling clothes and get on my bike.
With which three words would you describe vision-tec?
Familiar, great colleagues and innovative.
